From News Center (Text by Guo Xinyuan, School of Arts; Photo by Qin Yiqing and Yong Jia, School of Arts) On October 16, 2026, a series of major events associated with the World Vocational College Skills Competition 2026 took place in Tianjin. During the events, the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) and the Australian Education Innovation Alliance (AEIA) held a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony, where the official AEIA logo, independently designed by a faculty team from the School of Arts at Liuzhou Polytechnic University (LZPU), made its formal debut on the international signing stage. The logo earned unanimous praise from Chinese and international guests for its professional visual design and precise brand expression and became a notable achievement in LZPU’s international exchanges and cooperation at the event.

The AEIA logo design project represents a landmark achievement in LZPU’s efforts to deepen international educational cooperation through opportunities arising from overseas exchange visits. Previously, under the coordination of CEAIE, LZPU faculty members joined a delegation on an educational exchange visit to Australia, where they engaged extensively with high-quality local educational resources and established cooperative ties with the founders of AEIA. Drawing on their strong foundation in art and extensive practical design expertise, the faculty team from LZPU’s School of Arts successfully undertook the visual identity design project for the overseas educational organization. The team carefully distilled the organization’s core brand identity and meticulously developed an original visual design, creating a distinctive, standardized, professional, and internationally oriented logo for the overseas educational organization. University leaders highly commended the achievement, describing it as a vivid example of how LZPU leverages professional expertise to advance international cooperation and arts education to facilitate exchanges between China and other countries. This achievement fully demonstrated the university’s comprehensive capacity to support China’s efforts to expand the opening-up of vocational education.

The successful unveiling of the international organization's logo exemplifies how LZPU's achievements in art education and teaching are increasingly reaching international audiences and serving overseas partners on a regular basis. At the World Vocational College Skills Competition 2026, students from LZPU’s School of Arts also competed vigorously in the Art Design category and won a gold medal, achieving success in both educational outcomes and competition performance. In March of this year, a faculty and student team from the School of Arts also successfully completed a high-quality branded gift design project for LiuGong Indonesia, using original design to support the international expansion of Chinese manufacturing brands and promote the integration of industrial cultures between China and other countries. These landmark achievements collectively demonstrate the School of Arts’ strong faculty expertise, well-established talent cultivation system, and substantial results in practice-based education, while providing compelling evidence of LZPU’s continued efforts to internationalize its educational programs, expand the scope of its external services, and deepen industry-education integration.

In response to emerging trends in the international development of vocational education, LZPU will continue to deepen reforms in art education and teaching, use competitions to enhance teaching, encourage learning through creative practice, and promote exchanges through art, while advancing the deep integration of artistic creation, design practice, and disciplinary innovation with international people-to-people exchanges and overseas industrial cooperation. LZPU will continue to develop international approaches to talent cultivation, nurture high-quality technical and skilled talent with both innovative capabilities and global perspectives, produce high-level original art and design works, actively fulfill its mission of promoting people-to-people exchanges between China and other countries, and comprehensively support the high-quality, substantive development of the university’s internationalization cause.
